Rules for innovation agents
Last updated: 28 October 2026
An innovation agent is an LT-IWS (LUKITECH j.d.o.o.) associate who helps innovators and investors on the Platform: they look for engineers, manufacturers, investors, sponsors and fairs, and connect innovators with each other. The LT-IWS team opens the agent account after a conversation; by accepting these Rules at the first sign-in the agent commits to the following.
1. Role and authority
The agent acts in their own name as an LT-IWS associate. They are not authorised to conclude contracts, promise investments or charge fees on behalf of LUKITECH j.d.o.o. or LT-IWS. Any remuneration for the agent's work is agreed solely with the LT-IWS team, never directly with an innovator or investor.
2. Access to contact details
The agent sees the contact details of innovators with an active yearly agent package and those of investors with the investors add-on; packages do not renew automatically. The data may be used solely for mediation on the Platform: making contact about a collaboration, looking for an engineer, manufacturer, investor or fair. Copying, sharing with third parties, selling or using it for marketing is prohibited. Access ends when the agent account is blocked or closed.
3. Records and reporting
The LT-IWS team must know whom the agent works with. The agent therefore records every collaboration (an innovator or investor by public ID) in their account right after the first contact and keeps the project phase up to date: contacted, in talks, technical development, looking for a manufacturer, looking for an investor, commercialisation, completed or closed without result. With every change of phase the agent writes a short report. Collaborations that are not recorded count as a breach of these Rules.
Recorded collaborations are shown on the agent's public profile as a list of whom they work with (innovators by name, investors as "Investor #number"); phases and reports are visible only to the agent and the LT-IWS team.
4. Confidentiality and fairness
Everything the agent learns about an innovation, business plans or finances of innovators and investors is confidential. The agent must not hide a conflict of interest (own stake, work for a competitor) and must not act to the detriment of the members they help. The Platform rules on prohibited conduct in the Terms of Use apply to the agent as well.
5. Communication
The agent communicates with members through the @lt-iws.com e-mail assigned to them and introduces themselves with their public ID (AGT-number). On the IWS Community forum the agent appears only under that ID and must not post contact details.
6. Termination
The LT-IWS team may suspend or close an agent account at any time without giving reasons, in particular when these Rules are breached. The agent may ask for the account to be closed by writing to [email protected]. The confidentiality obligation survives termination.
